The typeface “Rotterdam, what’s your type?” combines the handwriting found in the public space of Rotterdam with the typeface “Overpass”, resembling the typeface used in the traffic signs around the city. These contradictions, between the functional typeface with no human error in sight and the clumsy familiarity of, create a typeface that can have a different visual outcome each time you use it.
