The typeface "Rotterdam: What’s Your Type?" merges handwriting found in Rotterdam’s public spaces with Overpass, a font inspired by municipal traffic signs. The tension between this functional, "error-free" typeface and the familiar clumsiness of handwriting results in a font that produces a different visual outcome every time it is used.
